Adopt a fire hydrant near you! When seconds count we as a fire department need to quickly access fire hydrants to get water to put the fires out. If a hydrant is located on your property or near you, please take the couple of minutes it will take to shovel a 3 foot perimeter around the hydrant. Those couple of minutes you take to shovel will help us help you in a emergency situation.

 

When the snow comes, we do our best to go around our response area and shovel however we are volunteers. This means it sometimes takes us a few days to shovel the hundreds of fire hydrants in our response area. Shoveling just one fire hydrant could save a life!
